Anybody had one,still got one?
I have a single "Framed Share" which I have had for the best part of 20 years but never got around to answering any of the letters that came my way after G&S took over and obtained the right to sort of compulsorily purchase it.
I am I still a shareholder, what happens if I just continue to ignore? I realise it is probably worth (one single ordinary share of 25p) next to nothing.
Any experts out there? I seem to be classified as a "dissenter" whereas in reality I am more of a "couldn't be arseder", Might reply and put the cheque in the frame as well

I have a 1 pound west ham trust certificate (not sure of the name) somewhere. I bought it from some guy that was active on here called Ged (not sure if I remember that well either!!).
Not sure why I am bring this up as I barely remember the details...

They have written to me three or four times so if you have moved in the meantime they may not have your up to date contact details.
Capita Asset Services on 0871 664 0300 handled things and may be able to help you.if you are desperate to recoup £4.71 of your "investment". They were quite helpful to me on the phone.

I recall paying about £20 for mine but that included the frame! There is obviously a cost involved in registering even just one share.
What price the joy of being part of the dream!

I paid a Tenner for mine from that bloke who set up WHISTLE.
So basically, West Ham are worth less than when Uncle Terry was running things

I found my share tucked inside my Missus House and Home magazine (April 12 edition) a few months back. How do I go about selling, or is it officially worthless.

I think it was the Icelandics who bought the shares from us all, not G&S.

For everyone trembling with excitement and needing to know the value of my single share it is, wait for it..........£4.21!
If anyone else gets the letter there is no need to send the certificate back, just tick that part of the form which says you can't find it and there will be no charge.

I seem to remember that I was originally told I could somehow keep the actual certificate so i will try that again and if I can I will take the money and frame the enormous cheque along with the certificate.

Still got mine too for the same reason. Didn't seem any point in sending it back for the cash
